Experienced Nurses

New Graduate Nurses

We are committed to the success of our new graduate nurses! Rutland Regional offers many benefits to new graduate nurses including support from experienced Clinical Educators, a state-of-the-art Nursing Simulation Center, Continuing Education Units onsite, and a Nurse Residency Program.

All new graduate nurses are automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program, which is a full-year program that provides an evidence-based curriculum to enhance the transition to practice. The curriculum is comprised of classroom, simulation, and seminars that are focused on critical areas for successful transition from student to practice nurse including leadership, communication, evidence-based practice, and patient outcomes.

Nursing Support

Rutland Regional is currently seeking Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA) and Medical Assistants (MA) to be part of our nursing team. We are committed to the success of our nursing support professionals and offer a variety of professional development and continuing education opportunities including a Grow Your Own LNA Program and a LNA Residency Program. Rutland Regional also offers tuition support to LNAs and MAs that are interested in pursuing a degree in nursing.

Advanced Practice Nurses

At Rutland Regional, we value the role of the Advance Practice Nurse (APRN) in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Our Advance Practice Nurses also enjoy the benefit of our APRN mentorship program, shared governance council, and free on-site Continuing Medical Education (CME) offerings.
