Summary

The Telecommunications Technician is responsible for the documentation, reporting, data collection and project coordination to support the implementation of software and technology changes and process improvements involving telecommunications systems, related products and functionality.   This position will troubleshoot technical problems both large and small and provide assessment and technical knowledge to problem-solving activities.  Recommending solutions to issues and communicating/reporting status of issues and initiatives is integral to the role. 

Minimum Education

  • Associates Degree in technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Work Experience

  • 2 years prior telecommunication experience 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated Avaya or similar phone system knowledge
  • Telecom Infrastructure knowledge.
  • Willingness and ability to be on call rotation for support and technical issues.
  • Demonstrated strong Customer Service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle emergencies in a calm manner.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of clinical and hospital processes.
  • Highly discreet, able to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Pay Range: $20.27 - $29.96
